In this episode I took a break between interviews to record a talk that is more directed to my children but also to any other kids that may not have a father that can speak into their lives.  I think that it is important for us a fathers that are concerned with what the world is telling our children and making sure that they know what Truth is and how we learn to have discernment.  How do we know what is true. 
I love sharing what I have learned from training horses for 20+ years and applying it to regular life.

He also served as an instructor for the Special Forces Advanced Uban Combat (SFAUC) Course where he taught Advanced Marksmanship and Close Quarters Combat (CQC) training courses.

More on our discussion on competition and your purpose in doing so.  What is your purpose in doing so and how do you use that purpose to hurt or help you progress in competition?  One of the discussions is about how Warwick and his wife competed in the World Equestrian Games and reached one of their highest scores of their careers.

Warwick Schiller is not only a great horseman with a lifetime of experience training horses but also has a lifetime of experience as a competitor in reining and a communicator in training people. Being a horse trainer at the competitive level requires a very well rounded individual because most often you are not only the physical labor that trains the horse but you are also the one who trains the rider to ride the horse. To do this job with any level of success requires you to be proficient with horses, people, marking, advertising, service, budgeting and communication. That is where having a wife that is invested in your business helps.  Warwick is skilled in all of these areas and he gives us an insight into his journey and some of what he has learned along the way
We had a great talk with Warwick Schiller about horses and understanding horses better helps us understand people better.  We also in this episode talk about the difficulties of the showmen and having the correct mindset.

Our last episode with Eddie includes a little bit of history to include a recount of the last touchdown pass by Johnny Unitas, an NFL legend.  Even in the last hour of our interview Eddie does not disappoint, he continues to share and inspire us till the end.

In this episode we discuss horse confirmation and how we pick it and what we are really looking for in a prospect. Also what it takes to be a horse trainer and all the hats you wear in a business where you sole proprietor.   It was fun to get to talk horses a little more in-depth with someone who doesn't work in the industry but make some comparisons with it and other businesses in general.  

In Part 2 we discuss the subject of moving up to the next level of performance. What does it mean to perform and not just participate. There are some gems in this section. I love talking about how to rise up to meet the expectation, sometimes is doesn't work and that is ok but it is never for a lack of trying!   Enjoy!

Eddie Hinton is one of those guys that has his eye on the prize and is unstoppable when he puts his mind to it.  From being a first round draft pic with the Baltimore Colts to Super Bowl Champion followed by entrepreneur, business man, there is not much that this man can't do once he puts his mind to it.
He is a great example of putting your mind into your work with an end in mind and he gives us a look into what that looks like. 
Once again, another one who knows how to work through adversity and is not defined by it.

This is the second part of our interview with Buster Frierson. We cover how do you price a horse and try to apply cowboy logic to a couple other of life's mysteries. hahaha
